About
Katei 家庭 (かてい), meaning “home; family; hearth”
A gen, for-charity BNHA zine centering around the greatest hero, Midoriya Izuku, and his mother, Midoriya Inko. Follow their lives, their struggles, and their unconditional mother-son love.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
→ All contributors must be AT LEAST 16 years old.
→ You must have a discord account! This is our primary mode of communication.
→ Samples submitted as Google Drive links are preferred. Refer to our app guidelines for detailed expectations!
→ PLEASE keep all samples SFW! This is an SFW zine.
→ At least one sample should include Deku and/or Inko.
→ Generative AI usage of any kind will NOT be tolerated. If you are caught using AI in any way, you will be removed from the project.
There will be NO NSFW add-on. NO problematic/pro-content will be tolerated.

JHAI
Head & Graphics ModJhai, also known as transmascofa, is an enthusiastic writer and fan, and always eager to bring the projects he wishes for to life. Zine-wise, he's been a contributor for Heart's Desire: a KRBK Love zine (writer), Vigilantes of Naruhata (page artist), popcorn & pillowforts: a KRBK-sleepover zine (writer & merch artist), and OTOKOGI: a Kirishima calendar zine (writer).
DIO
Production/Finance ModA BNHA veteran and master of rarepairs, Dionysus owns a merch shop of four years, selling enamel pins based on MHA, Vigilantes, One Piece, Demon Slayer, and many more fandoms! They have modded for Vigilantes of Naruhata, as well as contributed to The Language of Love: A Kiritodo zine and In Every Universe: An Erasercloudmic zine (both as a writer).
TRAVELER
Writing ModFrom a far away place who's come to share her tales and bestow Katei with her beta powers, Traveler, also known as Scarlet_Traveler, is a wizard with words and all things MHA. Her lineup of experience includes contributing to Otoko: A Middle School Kirishima Zine as a writing mod; and writing for zines such as From The Start: A KRBK milestones zine, Bright Future: a MHA timeskip anthology, Gilded: A Fantasy KRBK zine, and Petrichor: a SFW seasonal KRBK zine.
DES
Art & Merch ModA jack of all crafts, Des is a digital illustrator who dabbles in many art forms, including traditional and clay art. Their creativity — both in fanart and original work — knows no bounds, and neither does their experience with zines! They've contributed to a number of projects, including My Hero Babysitters, Hello Sunshine: A Tamaki Zine, and Heroes in Every Hue: an Inclusivity-Focused MHA Pride Zine.
AKI
Formatting & Organization ModA fandom veteran donning many mod hats, Aki is a writer and formatter who's had a hand in several projects. To list a few: she's formatted let's start a RIOT: A Kirishima Eijirou appreciation project, Exceptional: a BNHA rarepair zine; and was a writing mod for Gilded and As the World Falls Down: A Labryinth zine. She even hosted her own digital zine as an EVERYTHING mod: Heart's Desire!
SNICKERS
Socials ModBe it palm-sized trolls or larger-than-life heroes, Snickers is a phenomenal artist who pours passion and joy into all her fanworks and is a real MHA veteran! She had the pleasure of participating in her first zine, True Colors: a Dreamworks Trolls charity zine, as an artist last year.

In light of the recent airstrikes and the political tundra, we've decided to donate to the UN Crisis Relief for Venezuela, which you can find here.
Will you be hiring more mods?
As of May 2026, we will not be hiring more mods!
Will the zine be physical or digital?
Per the results of our interest check, this zine will be digital only!
Is prior zine-experience required?
No, not at all!
Will Midoriya Hisashi (Izuku's bio dad) be featured in the zine?
Allusions to Hisashi are acceptable, however considering his canonical absence in their life, the focus of this project is largely on Inko and Deku.
